The Library of Alexandria, that is. It's long gone, but it has a mysterious and incredible history. Students in grades 4-8 have been learning about the people who created the famous library and who put some of the greatest works into it. Alexander the Great, Eratosthenes, Aristotle, Archimedes and others. Here is an interesting documentary on the topic, narrated by Leonard Nimoy.
