The past week has been filled with wonderful, exciting, and fun events.

If you missed the Halloween Monster Round Up, you missed something great. The sheer amount of work and time that the 8th graders and their parents put into the gym and library was astonishing. The decorations were incredible. Mrs. Hull, as 8th grade class advisor, did a wonderful job. The Monster Round Up was a fundraiser for the 8th grade trip and they raised over $$900!

The children had plenty of sweets to take home and the 8th grade parents provided a fabulous array of cupcakes and cookies along with drinks and even chili if you needed a snack or small meal.

On Monday, we paraded through town to the General Store where, at the generosity of the new owner, the students (and staff) were treated to goody bags.

We celebrated the Brooklin School Soccer Team who was undefeated in the regular season with a banquet on Wednesday, November 3rd. Prior to the dinner, the soccer team took on their parents in a friendly game. Incidentally, the players won but not by much!
The PTF outdid themselves by cooking and serving a great dinner of spaghetti, salads, and garlic bread for the players, their families and community members.
Each 8th grade student was presented with an engraved trophy, certificate of participation and picture of the team. The students in the lower grades received a medal and certificate.
