Thanksgiving Wishes

posted Nov 23, 2016, 11:38 AM by hnawrot@brooklinschool.org
I wish you the happiest of Thanksgiving holidays. We all have so much for which to be thankful, each and everyone of us.  But sometimes we become caught up in the business of living or trying to make a living that we forget how lucky we are.  We take for granted what others around the world strive so hard to attain - peace, home, education for our children, food.  I think that what I love most about this holiday is that is entirely and simply about coming together as families, communities, to sit down and share a meal. In many parts of the world, sharing a meal is considered the greatest offering of friendship. I hope all those at your table tomorrow feel that spirit of love, caring and friendship.  For those who cannot be with you tomorrow, I hope they too will still feel that spirit across the miles. Happy Thanksgiving.
