Boots~Mittens~Snow pants~Extra socks~Inside shoes/slippers, Oh my!

Winter transforms our outside areas into a magical winter wonderland that we love to explore! We will go outside everyday unless wind chill or other unfavorable conditions keep us inside. Please be sure your child comes to school with appropriate outer wear: coat, hat, mittens, snow pants, and boots; as well as inside shoes/slippers, dry socks and dry pants. Upon arrival in the morning, please encourage your child to take off their boots and put on inside shoes, as we want to keep our classroom floor clean and dry by leaving wet, snowy boots in the hallway.  If you have any gently used boots (kids sizes 9-12) or snow pants (3T-6), I am happily accepting extras to have on hand. Thank you in advance.

We hung some of our home-made, nut-free bird feeders this week. This was a very popular "work" and we will continue to have supplies available for this activity.

Mark your calendars!
Thursday, December 15th Open House at 5:15 followed by winter concert at 6:00. Pre-School students will be singing
"The Mitten Song", and we will join the K-1 class to perform Jingle Bells.
Friday, December 16th Early Release. Pre-school dismissal starts at 1:15
