Math Update

We started the week with a look at what a Least Common Multiple is, along with the meaning of multiplication. Then we got right into multiplication, making sure we understood how the standard algorithm works. We looked at using a method called "Partial Products" along with looking at multiplication through an area model. Both of these methods allow you to understand what is going on in the standard algorithm. We'll continue next week with more complex problems with multiplication, from bigger numbers to numbers involving decimals.
