Students played an engaging (and educational!) game called "How Close to 100?". This can be played at home with a pair of dice and graph paper. Students roll the dice, color a rectangle with those dimensions, and continue on in that fashion with their partner. The goal is to see how close to filling in the 100 squares you can get. Great fun!
Students also learned about the Associative Property of Multiplication and began learning about factors using the area model.
